Looking for a fun place to meet other families who homeschool or want to? You’ve come to the right spot! 🙂
With The Exploring Families, we create community by organising get-togethers in Europe for families who homeschool or unschool, often while traveling.
During our get-togethers, we usually:
- explore the area together
- play games, think of group games like Living Stratego and board games like Monopoly
- share meals because eating together connects
- have sharing circles to share our experiences and struggles
- explore different handcrafts in creative workshops
- enjoy lots of spontaneous play
- and much more
About Us
Born from a shared love for worldschooling, community, and meaningful connection, Mirjam and Susanne started The Exploring Families in 2022 to bring like-minded families together. Later, Rob joined the team.
Since then, the hubs have grown into warm and playful gatherings across Europe, where families come together to play, connect, and create lasting memories.
After four wonderful years of organising and hosting, Mirjam has decided to take a step back.
Today, our gatherings are hosted by Rob, sometimes together with Susanne.
