Looking for a fun place to meet other families who homeschool or want to? You’ve come to the right spot! 🙂
With The Exploring Families, we create community by organising get-togethers in Europe for families who homeschool or unschool, often while traveling.
During our get-togethers, we usually:
- explore the area together
- play games, think of group games like Living Stratego and board games like Monopoly
- share meals because eating together connects
- have sharing circles to share our experiences and struggles
- explore different handcrafts in creative workshops
- enjoy lots of spontaneous play
- and much more
About Us
Born from a shared love for worldschooling, community, and meaningful connection, Mirjam and Susanne started The Exploring Families in 2022 to bring like-minded families together.
Since then, the hubs have grown into warm and playful gatherings across Europe, where like-minded families come together to play, connect, and create lasting memories.
Some hubs are hosted by Mirjam, others we co-host – always with the same focus on warmth, creativity, and a welcoming atmosphere where every family feels at home.
